Breast Cancer Care seeks Policy & Campaigns Officer
Breast Cancer Care is looking for an outstanding individual to join our dynamic and vibrant Policy, Campaigns and Evidence team, charged with driving change for the half a million people living with breast cancer in the UK today.
The post holder will be responsible for leading on the involvement and engagement of people affected by breast cancer in our policy and campaigns work. We have a strong network of campaigners who underpin and support our work to affect change nationally, regionally and locally. This role will build on the current success we have had and continue the network’s growth and engagement. The post holder will also support the development and implementation of our policy and campaigns work, working closely with the Policy Manager, the Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager, and a number of other teams across the organisation.
You will be passionate about achieving change for those affected by breast cancer and will have at least two years’ experience in either a policy or campaigns background. You should also possess the ability to analyse and interpret complex policy issues, as well as build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels. You will be passionate about digital and data, understanding how we can use these to maximum effect to deploy campaigns, understand campaign successes and engage with campaigners.
